#92 The Wolf Among Us (Playstation 3, 2013)

Telltale was responsible for breathing new life into the Adventure game genre with its formula of episodic "CYOA" games, and even if the company kind of beat that formula to death, I will always have to respect that.

Before it got old, the company put out The Wolf Among Us, which is based on comic book series called Fables. It's an interesting take on the characters from well-known fairy tales who all live together in disguise in New York City.

The game is presented in the noir style which is neat and I found the story engaging enough to hold my attention throughout all five episodes. I know better than to play any Telltale game more than once to avoid ruining the illusion of choice, and so it was all over pretty quickly. I guess there is some sequel that has been in development hell for years, but I would play that probably if it ever comes out.
