Plants vs. Zombies came out in that environment and kind of made every other one of those games look like crap. The gameplay was simple and fast-paced, and encouraged both strategy and frantic clicking. It had me and my then-partner captivated for several weeks, which did not happen often. While it was very cute, I didn't really get into the "story" or the characters, so I never tried any other games in that franchise. It's a shame the sequel never came home, but I think the grindy free-to-play model was not suited well for PC (or me) anyway. --- At least your mother tipped well ... Copied to Clipboard! |
