McConnell has been a jerk for a very long time and how the good people of KY keep getting duped by this guy and voting for him is beyond me. He partnered and sided with KYs coal companies to take the health insurance of sick coal miners away when they needed it most. McConnell, if anyone recalls, also blocked a bipartisan denunciation of Russian interference in the 2016 election before voters went to the polls.
