Day to day is pretty much just solving problems that come up and having some technical know-how about the science of some software that's becoming increasingly blackbox and automated. Like one day a year I calibrate things. Week to week I figure out ways to improve the site and try to implement it. I'm like part IT-guy, part scientist, part manager. I've been really enjoying where I work and what I do lately! I can talk about it as much as you want over pm. beefcake71090 posted... you do the math to figure out which one is better. It gets complicated dealing with taxed and untaxed money from multiple retirement accounts and raises and moving costs and figuring out my lease and everything. Like I can defer taxes on an extra 34k at one place, which would be nice...but i also don't know how to really value that. Right now I math out if I just get like a 13% raise I might be better off just staying where I am because of the benefits. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
