I like Sterling, but he's a lot less cool than he used to be. The dude went from legit anti-establishment to using it as a bad gimmick regardless of whether a AAA game is actually good or not, and these days he refuses to say what these games actually do well. It reeks of manipulating the youtube algorithm for clicks.

Like no one who is being intellectually honest can call Cyberpunk one of the ten worst games of the year. Ten worst launches maybe, but a lot of the problems are already fixed.

He's been going on about CDPR's dishonest reputation as pro-consumer, highlighting the crunch environment that's been going on behind the scenes, and the review... scandal's not quite the right word, but it was also dishonest. It's less that the games are necessarily bad (some definitely are), and more that he's highlighting something he dislikes about the industry.
