To me, it's like a more condensed Hollow Knight with a slightly worse world and better storytelling. Both Ori games are wonderful, but since I like Hollow Knight better gameplay wise, Ori 2 was like the best of both worlds. Can't say I'd say it's definitively the better game since HK's world is just so strong, but it's a must play. Bloodstained is also incredible and my other go to answer for favorite recent Metroidvania.
