10. Undead Unluck
14 points

"Sick! Wicked sick!"

This recent fighting manga started a bit slow, frequently placing low on the ToC. But as its unique worldbuilding is expanded upon and its colorful cast of characters get the time they need, it has become one of the stronger newbies, with solid rankings and sells.
UU revolves around people with unique abilities called 'negators', who can negate certain concepts. For example, the titular Undead and Unluck are Andy and Fuuko, who respectively has the power to negate his own death and negate other people's luck (even bringing calamities like having a plane or a meteor fall on them). These unconventional powers make the fight scenes fresh and unique - Andy's go-to move is, in fact, shooting off his own finger tips or other extremities as projectiles, since he can just regenerate them!

9. Act-Age
16 points

The world of acting is not one often explored in manga, much less in a shonen manga. Yet Act-Age proved that it can be successful. Kei Yonagi is a normal student who went into acting to earn money as she was the breadwinner for her siblings, but soon she fell in love with the art form itself.
Act-Age was shaping up to be a big phenomenon, earning a live stage adaptation and being pushed to the forefront on promotions. Sadly, its life was cut short when the writer (but not the artist) was arrested for molesting teenagers.

8. Jujutsu Kaisen
27 points

Yuji Itadori was a normal high-schooler who got thrown into the world of curses and demons when he accidentally ate the finger of the legendary curse, Sukuna. Unexpectedly, rather than dying, he could channel the tremendous power of Sukuna to fight other curses.
Earlier this year, Jujutsu Kaisen got a highly successful anime adaptation that launched its sales to crazy heights. The future seems bright for this demon-fighting series.

7. Dr. Stone
33 points

A mysterious light engulfed the Earth and turned all its inhabitants to stone. Thousands of years later, a genius called Senku woke up, who avoided losing his consciousness by counting each passing second. Using the power of SCIENCE, he sets off to restore civilization and unveil the truth behind the incident, with the help of friends he restored from petrification as well as the remnants of humanity.
Dr. Stone sets itself apart with its focus on science to solve problems. It's quite amazing seeing how Senku and co. made use of natural resources to recreate modern inventions like radar, the radio, motorcycles, and more.
