(First Thoughts: Its simple, but cute and charming in its simplicity that makes it rather nice to listen to.)

Its not the most emotionally moving song or especially complicated, but its probably the most charming song on the soundtrack. I think... on the right day this might just be cute enough to be an incredibly powerful track, but it doesnt do enough by itself to really impact me emotionally on a normal day.

Still cute, still like it.

[Final Thoughts: Still simple, still cute, still in the early portion of the I like this tier.

...also, there has to be an error in the counting of these eliminations somewhere. If theres only 1 Extra Nom & 5 Celeste Soundtrack songs remaining, then Metalmind shouldnt be listed as having 7 songs remaining...

This thing popped up on one of my Spotify lists quite some time ago and I made a note of it. Thise board seems to love Metroid, and Ridley, and METAL COVERS, so I figured itd be of interest to someone here at some point.

....probably not you, but it did get me out of doing an actual writeup, so Id say it did its job. Also, ToxicxEternity was involved in that Octopath Traveler Metal Remix Album, so its not even a completely arbitrary reference.

.......I mean its random to bring it up now, but it could plausibly have been relevant at another songs writeup.

[Final Thoughts: I should probably clarify that I dont have any issues with the lyrics, theyre just so deep and serious that Im hopelessly over my head. Which is a good thing, yes, it wouldnt have reached the I like this tier if I didnt like it. Theres just not much relevant I can say here.]

(First Thoughts: A triumphant song. It feels as though youre at the end of a difficult boss fight and the power of everyones HOPES have supercharged you, or shattered the enemys barrier, or whatever. Its kinda neat.)

Im not really into hopeful and triumphant things at the moment, but I do like how clearly it conveys a specific emotion. Very well done track, I like it.

[Final Thoughts: Apparently songs that sound like triumphant and hopeful battle themes are better than epic battle themes. Who knew?]
