I've had many Hamsters. The best I had though was a Chinese hamster called Scampi as apposed to Syrian. He used to slide through the cage bars and escape at times. Catching him then he would bite. Other than that though he was soft as a brush. Lived for around 5 years as apposed to the three my Syrian ones lived for. I also had a long haired Syrian hamster.
