Also, I'm curious. This season, someone could go undefeated and end up with not the most wins in a season in nba history. But say someone went like...67-5, or close to it or something. How would that be compared to 73-9? Is there a number other than perfect that you could say was unequivocally the best regular season of all time? What is your opinion personally and how do you think the basketball community as a whole would treat it?

Fans of that said would say it was the best. Fans of the Warriors would say it doesn't count. Fans of the Bulls/Jordan would say it doesn't mean a thing without the ring.

After that, it kind of depends. In general I assume most people would accept the highest win% as the best season, but if it was the Lakers (Lebron) there would be a lot of haters saying it doesn't count. It probably also depends on if that team won the finals. It shouldn't matter for a regular season discussion but it always does.
