(First Thoughts: Yeah, yeah, its not literally dealing with suicidal thoughts, but any song featuring a line like I should have died when I was young is...too far along the soul-crushing axis to ever be listened to voluntarily.)

Well, its not just Maynard who can cause their songs scores to tank with a poor choice of metaphor. I get that this is actually about music and what not, but the choice of imagery is just... more than I want to deal with.

(First Thoughts: A good idea, I do still need more dread inducing instrumentals, but this still isnt as unsettling as it could be.)

Right idea, right genre of song, just not very well executed. A song that exists only to inspire feelings of terror and dread that does not actively inspire such feelings is a bit pointless. I hate that Im being so harsh on this, because it really is done in a style of music that I desperately need more of... but I dont think the song actually succeeded at its goals and only like it a very small amount as a result.

Sorry, I really do appreciate the attempt with this song though.

[Final Thoughts: Decided to move this up the list because its definitely the type of song I want more of, even if this isnt the best representation of it.]
