This song was better off before I tried looking up what it was about. Now that I know its about strangulation as a form of self-harm, I kinda....cant actually enjoy this song much. Its still a good enough song that I dont want to drop it ludicrously far down the list, but Im just... done with it now, thanks anyway. [Not-Quite-Final Thoughts: Well, Im mostly back to being able to enjoy the song, so thats nice. I want to like it. Right amount of anger, the music is more discordant than most other nominations I get, it should be my thing... but it goes a bit too far into scream-y metal territory in places.) Its a rather abrasive song, which I suppose is the point of scream-y industrial metal, but that doesnt make me like it any more. I also dont have any connection to the lyrics; I guess its nice enough for a revenge song (turning the tables on someone and making them feel afraid instead), but there are no lyrics that Im particularly fond of...
