(First Thoughts: Good song, but the lyrics are too lovey.)

I know its stupid, but I actually kinda like the ticking clock sounds in the intro. The harsh sounds of the instruments is also strangely appealing somehow. But I just dont care about the lyrics in the slightest, which limits how much I actually want to listen to the song. Once you start singing about making babies, I lose all interest.

But I do like the song itself, when removed from the lyrics... so I dont want to drop it too far down the list because the positives outweigh the negatives.

[Final Thoughts: The usual good song that I dont have any connection to message goes here. I still like it, but... yeah.]

(First Thoughts: Considerably better than Battle I.)

For some reason, this feels like a modern Mega Man X song. I can just picture him (or Zero) running and jumping across cars on a crumbling highway. Strangely, I cant imagine Axl; possibly because no one cares about Axl.

I guess Axl wasnt bad in X8. He was like a shapeshifting version of Bass, but he had the misfortune of debuting in X7 & basically trying to replace X (who isnt even playable for half the game)... pretty hard for a character to recover from such a terrible debut (both in terms of how they debuted and how bad their debut game was)doesnt help that not many people played X8 to see how the character improved.

[Final Thoughts: This is one of the better Battle Themes, entirely because it doesnt feel like a battle theme to me. The bias towards things that merely remind me of Mega Man is real.]
