I don't know the original or the game at all so it doesn't do much for me on that line. As such, the voices being more suited to storytelling than singing isn't a great call. One of them doesn't sound great even when he tries. On a later listen, I feel revulsion, so that doesn't bode well for this. Couldn't even finish it. Originally this got a 6.something, for the record

I'm not going to say that it's great, but it does one thing very well -- it plays up the obvious reference with this song to the track at the end of The Wall, while tying into Chrono Trigger's storyline. The dude singing is very much emulating the style of Roger Waters's prosecutor voice, and he does an excellent job of that.
