G.I Joe and He-man actually did GOOD and HELPFUL PSAs at the end of their episodes during the 80's. ^These G.I Joe and He-man PSA's are actually age appropriate (and they apply to everyone of any age group in any area. I know some fully grown adults during the year 2020 who can use the advice given in those G.I Joe and He-man PSAs). Cartoon network's current PSA isn't age appropriate. The stuff they are discussing is something even some adults have a tough time grasping. A kid, who doesn't have proper knowledge of most of that stuff (why? because they are kids. Cognitively speaking they aren't up to that point yet, especially for those that haven't even hit puberty) isn't going to fully understand any of that. Also, the writing in that Cartoon Network PSA is horrible. The writing seems like it was written by some college student who wrote that Cartoon network PSA for an assignment that would only be read by a professor, not for a general audience of Cartoon Network viewers. Meanwhile, those G.I Joe and He-man PSAs are extremely well written and can be understood by anyone of any age. --- I want my Earthbound!!! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
