Supposedly Demon Hunter was one of the only things keeping Highlander Hunter in check so they wanted to preemptively nerf it by hitting Brann and Polkelt. Honestly these nerfs just mean that Evolve Shaman and Secret Rogue/Whilrkick Rogue are going to be absolute menaces. This does nothing to actually help classes that weren't tier 1 viable (Warlock, Priest, etc.), and all it does is replace a couple top tier oppressive decks with other top tier oppressive decks, but hey maybe people will stop whining about Demon Hunter for 5 seconds....just kidding that isn't going to happen. Sadly the only decks I have the cards to play (and even then I have to play budget versions) are Soul DH, Highlander Hunter (a very budget version - I don't have Polkelt, Rifle, Dragonbane), and Face Hunter, so with these nerfs I guess I get to go back to playing braindead budget Face Hunter for the times I need to grind the weekly achievements. Honestly I think I may go the way of everyone else quitting. I got into Hearthstone because of a couple of friends and they've all stopped playing.
