Nominator: Bane (23/28)
Source: From Parts Unknown (12/14)

Initial Score: 52.04 [#352]

Final Score: 50.54 [#454]

(First Thoughts: *yawns* Cant keep eyes open anymore... Ive got to go to some other collection of songs to wake back up before I try to finish this album.)

The only song to actually put me to sleep, as opposed to just making me very tired. Thats something, I suppose?

This song might feature the best lyrics out of all the Every Time I Die songs at this topic.

[Later: ...Actually I say that about multiple ETID songs and honestly dont know which one Id say has the best lyrics, so...]

Schrodingers Cat is an interesting choice for a topic to open a song with, the answer is that theres no answer at all is...strangely inspirational if Im being honest, and for being someone whose lyrical work Ive praised, hes definitely at one of his highest points here.

All attached to a song where hes screaming so that youre lucky to make out even one word without staring directly at a lyric guide, in a very overly intense song. Its... not ruining, but as almost always, I feel like theres a perfect song here if it werent being done in this genre.

[Final Thoughts: I cant think of anything to add to that.]

Nominator: NFUN (24/37)

Initial Score: 54.38 [#313]
Revised Score: 52.64 [#399]
Final Score: 50.58 [#453]

(First Thoughts: This makes me think of older space combat sims, with wireframe graphics (see: the original Star Wars arcade game)... though I picture the graphics in only black-and-white, so actually a bit more primitive than Star Wars arcade.

[the write-up seems to trail off into infinity at this point as it was missing its closing bracket. Did I type more here that accidentally got lostthis keyboard has a very sensitive Delete key that is prone to removing entire paragraphs if you so much as look at itor did I just forget to close it?

...Probably the latter.])

Still feels like space combat music to me. Now it feels more like Gradius V than first-person wireframe graphics, but still very shoot things in space-y. Which is fine? Certainly better than not imagining anything at all and I wouldnt mind listening to more Gradius songs, but its also not super compelling either.

[Final Thoughts: Definitely above average VGM and its kinda impressive how much the concept of space comes through here. Considering the songs title, Im going to guess that I couldnt be any further off track from where it actually plays, but that has no bearing on anything.]
