It's a bit farther off but after beating the initial 50 story there are a ton of level 50 sidequest dungeons and trials to do before you even unlock those roulettes. In particular keep an eye out for the Crystal Tower sidequests which give a ton of poetics, unlock the Alliance Roulette (another good source of EXP and tomes), and actually have a major plotline. Crystal Tower is required for MSQ now!
