| T0ffee 12/09/20 12:39:17 PM #49: | So the guy who made the Pop on Rocks video made this as an explanation of how copyright works and all the legal mess he has to go through to release the song on Spotify, and specifically WHY he felt the need to release it on Spotify. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxYtXe23txo tldr; if he doesn't do this, someone else can claim his music as their own and potentially abuse the claim id system to damage not just clippers who use his song, but even Amelia herself, and even Cover/hololive. The guy himself is pretty cool about it and has the fan/artist mentality of "this should be free always", but he has to do this in order to protect himself, his music, and his connection to Cover.
