So, apparently Ian was able to learn national news while in the jury house because they had a telescope, which he used to get news headlines off a TV in a nearby house. But they eventually figured out what he was doing and took the telescope away. That's a creative idea, at the very least. Shame it couldn't happen in the house proper. --- I'm me.
