Drake is one of the best rappers because of his massive influence. vs Drake is one of the "best" rappers because of his massive influence. Not the same. The whole point of using those is because there is no single best rapper because it encompasses so many things that help and hurt rappers. And actual skill has never been the deciding factor in ranking people. Rakim was a much more skillful rapper than Tupac and the vast majority of the culture places Pac on top.
