Apologies for that delay, but its Monday, so lets dive back in.

506: THE EIGHTFOLD ROAD - PRIMROSE, THE DANCER:

https://familyjules7x.bandcamp.com/track/primrose-the-dancer

Nominator: The_Mighty_KELP (24/32)

Initial Score: 51.21 [#367]
Revised Score: 50.00 [#425]
Final Score: 45.55 [#506]

(First Thoughts: ...Well its not like I particularly liked the original version of this song anyway, so this is probably the best that could ever be expected from a remix.)

...Well the plus side is that KELP isnt going to be in this topic, so if I drop all of his songs here without writeups, then hell never notice anyway. </.<

More seriously, this track is fine? It still leans too hard on being a metal remix for me to be into it, but its not like they could have done anything better with the song they had to work with.

[todays random filler track takes us to 16-bit versions of popular songs:]

Crue Ball - Dr. Feelgood:

Its actually not a very good version of the song, but its kinda interesting that an officially licensed 16-bit version of Dr. Feelgood exists in the first place? Id say I dislike it, but its still somewhat worth listening to as a novelty.

[Final Thoughts: Its just too hard and too metal to work for Primrose or this type of song and pulls me out of it. The more traditional parts of the song are good enough to be worth some praise, but the main part is just so...out of touch that I wind up disliking it.

...At the moment, anyway. Apparently I kinda liked it the first time around, not that I suspect that is much comfort.]
