Lol Something refreshing I noticed too is that I haven't actually needed to use any HMs. Like I have Strength or Cut, but I don't think I've ever needed to use them to progress, which is good because I hate giving them those powers. I think I needed to use Surf that once right after I got it, but besides that it really feels like they haven't been necessary. If I somehow get completely screwed with HM necessities, I think I'll make a rule where I can catch something specifically to progress and then release it the moment I get another Pokemon that can use it.
