Oh look, an overly epic RPG battle theme, what a completely unique composition that I definitely have things to say about. That was sarcasm. Its not the best EPIC BATTLE THEME nominated, nor the worst, nor worth much time talking about. I like 30 Rock, novelty songs, comedy songs, furry songs, and Donald Glover. Combine all of them and of course I like the full version of the song, how could I not? According to Tina Fey, a lot of the song is Donald Glover (pre-Childish Gambino fame) doing a Tracy Morgan impression as well as playing the role of the producer. So its Donald arguing with himself as two different characters. Allegedly. I dont really hear it, but theres no reason for her to lie about it and hes a great enough performer that Im willing to believe its him doing a Tracy impression. Its just anime music, which is fine, I love a lot of anime musicjust not this song that never does anything I find appealing. Or appalling. Or apple-peeling. Or..some...fourth unrelated word that starts with a and ends in ing-ing.
