It's absolutely worth playing IMO but 8 and 9 have enough legacy at this point to be higher on your priority list. I know 8's remaster is kind of fucked as far as its non-character model visuals and performance goes (unless this has been fixed since release) whereas 9 has some basic polish but can be combined with the Moguri Mod (if you're playing on PC) and be truly elevated to a definitive version. --- Let the voice of love take you higher, With this gathering power, go beyond even time! ...
