Wow I had no idea there were so many options to get through stuff like that! I have to say this seems like the most replayable Final Fantasy by far, just from how different the gameplay is depending on the jobs you pick. I've tried to mix it up but there's a few jobs I have barely touched still, I kind of wish it let you set two abilities so you can experience more stuff but that'd be too easy and I guess they want you to replay it. The level of depth is well beyond what I expected, though. Not just with jobs but items, too, what you have equipped can be vitally important it seems.

I like that the bosses aren't typically immune to every status effect in this game, it makes a nice change from those spells usually being entirely useless against RPG bosses. I don't think any of them have been immune to Slow (of the ones I tried it on, at least!).

Thanks for the equipment change heads up, I did scroll around but didn't find the option, and I guess maybe I was thinking of Tactics where you had to equip a separate skill to change your equipment in battle. I'll try Gogo again later too.

Also I actually didn't do FJF this year and this thread is making me want to do one casually... Might do that.

My fav thing about doing these playthroughs has been people getting the itch to play the games again!
