(First Thoughts: Oh hello again, RPG battle themes that try to be intense and bore me to sleep as a result, its been a few days since I got to complain about you.)

Overly epic RPG battle theme that lulls me to sleep with its boring attempt at epic-ness? Check.

Overly pulsing beat that I complain about CONSTANTLY? Check.

But... song is not too bad actually. As far as songs from this genre go, its probably one of the better ones. I dont actively dislike it, and its fine enough for what it wants to be, but its still not something Ill ever choose to listen to.

[Final Thoughts: I really dont think this dropping with a low score is a surprise. Its from the category of songs Im least interested in hearing (RPG battles) and has an overly repetitive beat throughout most of the song. Its tolerable and probably helping to make it easier to tolerate other songs like it, but it really didnt have much chance of getting a high score.

Well, the original version of this writeup was based on some faulty information, so Ive deleted it and replaced it with this one at the last minute.

...Not that I have anything I want to say about this track. At first, I could just bluff my way through a conversation by talking about the theories about who the song is about (and how ineffective this song is at attacking someone when no ones entirely sure who your target even is), but finding an old interview that explicitly says the song is about the tendencies of people and not anyone specific rather kills that detour.

[Final Thoughts: At least the scoring is fairly consistent?]

(First Thoughts: Right, lets get the high points out of the way.

1: While I still havent played any Touhou games, I have used enough of the characters in MUGEN that I actually get most of the character references.

2: The references to Ace Attorney are a nice surprise.

3: Its a villainous song without being too evil, so youre on the right track.

BUT

A: Give me 300 grams of your boobs. I dont think I can honestly say its the worst line of the topic, but

B: I dont think I actually like the song? Too fast-paced and abrasive.

Decent odds that I wind up moving this above 50 points on a re-listen, but for now, the dislike overpowers the like.)

Yeah, I dont like the singers voice here and the entire song is just too abrasive. I still like the idea of the song and some of the references & lyrics, but Im not really into it.

[Final Thoughts: Sorry. It does check a lot of boxes and was a very good attempt, but Im just not that into it.]
