(First Thoughts: Sleep-inducing, to a point that I really need to take a break here. Cant keep my eyes open anymore. Tryping with eyes closed, on an off-centered keyboard. WWonder if Im hitting any of the right keys? Eh,, doesnt matter, one of these write-ups is in ROT-13, so an incomprehensible gibberish write-up will fit right in.)

That was strangely coherent for blind typing on this tiny bluetooth keyboard.

Song isnt as sleep-inducing when Im listening to it by itself instead of trying to get through as much of the album as possible (yet another source that would have been better off I shuffled everything). Still not a fan, but I kinda like the mechanical factory sound it has. Not the type of ambiance Id like (why would I want to envision visiting an evil factory?) and I still dont actually like the song, but its better than the First Thoughts gave it credit for.

[Not-Quite-Final Thoughts: This gets a little better each time I hear it. Punting it up a tier to the 40s. Who knows, I might actually like it when its time to hear it again.]

[Final Thoughts: Evil factory with a hint of island ambience. Pretty appropriate sound. Not my type of thing or an imaginary location Id like to visit, but definite credit for creating a musical environment. Since the song has jumped a whole tier each time Ive listened to it, there is a chance that I might start liking it if we kept things going long enough... but right now this is as far as it makes it.]

(First Thoughts: Fairly generic trying to be ominous chanting song that is not actually ominous or catchy enough to join in the chanting song.)

I think that summed up the song. It wants to be an ominous chanting song (which Id like), but it fails to be actually ominous and doesnt really accomplish anything as a result.

[Tonights installment of talking about random songs to fill space takes us to a Namco Museum song that I dont like, but want to talk about anyway:]

The intro to this song is great. I love low tones like that and it always convinces me that this is going to be a great song that I love... then it becomes this cheesy faux-metal trash with these goofy monster growls and wow, I do not like the direction this song went.

[Later: Im trying to find something else to say about the song, but no matter how many times I listen to it, I have nothing else that I want to add. Its just not ominous or particularly fun to listen to, leaving it as something Im just not a fan of.]

[Final Thoughts: *continues to talk about Assault Game Room* I should like monstrous growling, but its just so... ridiculous and bad. Its so bizarre. Kinda neat because its so out of place compared to most Namco Museum Songs, but its pretty far off the mark from what I was hoping for.
