Exactly. You can be let go for any reason or no reason at all. And you sign documents and your hiring agreeing to terms. There is no case here.

Not if that reason is protected by law, in this case the Civil Rights Act. An employer can't outright fire you for being a woman, being black, or (not) being religious. If the boss had said "it isn't working out, we're gonna have to let you go", that's one thing - especially in an at will state. If the boss explicitly states why you're terminated, and it's something protected under the purview of federal law, that's another. He has every right to sue.
