Fair. Those do sound quite good. You could make the green bean casserole cheesy instead. Make up a cheesy bechamel sauce instead of the cream of mushroom. My first thought is cheddar, but you might want something different with the shallots. That, or replace the green bean casserole with broccoli with cheese sauce (though broccoli and brussel sprouts might be a bit redundant).

l do put parmesan in the cream of mushroom but I wouldn't call it cheesey. Recipe for that:

And I like my brussel sprouts a certain way.

I am happy with the squash gratin ! lol. Might not be as good as potato but it's still yummy!
