I live in Scottsdale for the past 3 1/2 years and I dont mind AZ. I cant stand the heat, but its better than humidity. I might move to CO or eastern WA state sooner or later.

Cool. Yeah, I dont know if Ill stay in AZ forever. Maybe long enough to buy and own rental property, or maybe Ill still love it and stay.

I've lived in a lot of places and work with tourists and all I can say is: places have a reputation for a reason

mormons are weird and rule Utah? Yep
New Yorkers are rude? sure are
Denver is nothing but midwesterners who moved there for weed and dreams of being outdoorsy? yep
The Seattle freeze? it's real

but the towns I've seen in AZ I also found to be surprisingly clean and calm, nice outdoors too

Yeah, AZ wasnt my first choice, but my friend and his mom love it. After seeing it firsthand, I can see why. I originally was considering some place like Idaho. Maybe Ill still end up there some day.
