| Topic | From 1-10, how excited do you have to be about a movie to see it in theaters? |
| man101 11/22/20 9:49:19 AM #15: | Back when movies were like five bucks on opening night and I was a teenager with no obligations I saw pretty much every movie I was vaguely interested in. Now movies cost 3-4 times more and my standards have gotten higher (or I'm more cynical) and I only see movies in theaters if I really, really want to see them or if I think they're going to be necessary being on a larger screen. Otherwise I wait for streaming. I think part of it is I also just lost that urge to be among the first to experience stuff. I always wanted to get new games first, beat them before my friends, etc. Now I really don't care.
