I see where Tony is coming from, I've heard from people say "Ugh this year's game sucks" and stuff The thing with games like Madden is that a lot of the "ugh this year's game sucks" tends to come from competitive players that are upset some previous gameplay feature that they used to exploit got changed to be less exploitable. Madden's all about small gameplay changes like that and people tend to not like when they have to "git gud" again because they can't cheese in the same way they cheesed before. EDIT: An example would be if they notice players are exploiting an issue with defending against deep passes, they'll tweak passing to make it less easy to exploit the next year. And then people will "UGH THIS GAME SUCKS" when they can't throw for 90 yards every play.
