There is nothing wrong with not understanding virtual youtubers.
Virtual Youtubers are like that bro you had growing up you used to watch playing video games with, except this bro is a girl (technically there are male vtubers I guess) and isn't going to steal your Pokemon cards to buy drugs. I use it mainly for background noise.

But remember that vtubers are a delusion. They are real people being paid to play a character which may or may not be reflective of their real selves.
