I've seen enough of VTubers, streamers, vloggers, etc, to render a judgment. The idea that you have spend tens of thousands of hours to perfectly inform your opinion is silly. Nowhere else is that considered a reasonable standard. Do you have to spend a thousand hours in a chemical treatment plant to render an informed judgment of the smell of chemical waste relative to a perfume? In most things, you can get a good sense for a thing without spending a massive amount of time doing that thing. And there's not enough time in the world to spend thousands of hours doing everything so you can make a comparison. And lest you forget, you guys have provided plenty of vtuber clips in this topic -- things that you no doubt consider to be exemplars of the genre -- so I'm able to draw on your tens of thousands of hours to help me make an informed decision without having to put in those hours myself.

However, ultimately vtubing is just a new sheet of paint on existing things.
