Every time team plasma is involved or even when interacting with a gym leader, he starts yelling and proclaiming his intentions of revenge or victory or whatever, and he gets entirely ignored. Hes a character who believes hes the protagonist when really hes just a side character. I also hate that is team is a repeat of Cheren/Bianca, especially when the Unova dex was basically doubled from bw1. Its a shame because I was hyped for him when he was revealed, he has a great cocky+competent rival design but hes very forgettable, and his battle theme is great as well.
