I'll look at that Cloud quote too. I'll go into my thoughts about the overall narrative and characters properly later, but yeah as said it faded a bit at the end. Delita is wonderful. I never unlocked Dancer either :( Cool that they confirmed Ramza's survival (and weirder they never did a T2 I guess), and I'll look into Vagrant Story some more. As for final teams, I stopped swapping in new characters properly a while ago, I tried the new ones briefly but generally stuck to my team in lategame, intentionally avoiding Cid to keep a bit of challenge up. Kept swapping jobs though. In the end I had: -Ramza, of course. In the final battle he was Monk/Bard, though I had been swapping Squire/Geomancer/Samurai on him too for the whole lategame p much. -Heinline, my Ninja/Lancer. This combo was so good for speed, damage dealing and getting across the maps I never really altered it. He had Ignore Jump Height (so broken on a bunch of maps) and Attack Up. -Nena, who was Priest/Summoner by the end though I never used her heals anymore, just kept Priest up for the speed. She was Time Mage a lot of the time, too. She had Short Charge and Move/MP Up. -Mustadio, Engineer/Chemist. I had him on Thief for a while once I learned Equip Guns from Mediator, again for the speed boost (and the steals). He had Throw Item. -Agrias, Holy Knight/Chemist. I know she's supposed to be stronger as a Knight but I wanted another healing option. Also gave her Throw Item.
