Soma Bringer - Ring Tower i liked this one a lot less than run through flames ~ largo bridge. it's another waltz but it doesn't sound like a "fusion waltz" like run through flames did (like zappa's a pound for a brown on the bus). this sounds more like a johann strauss II waltz, which is a style of music i'm much less into. the composition appealed a lot less to me too. still decent, though! so yeah, i liked all three mitsuda tracks that were nominated but didn't love anything. however, i do want to check out the soma bringer and tsunami: atonement soundtracks someday to see if there's anything on there i DO love. i feel like the potential for this to happen is definitely there! --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
