Shelf collectors (of video games) have invaded PS2 game collecting as well and prices have shot up..To be fair, I never really looked into rare games. I've mostly been buying games I had as a kid. At a certain point in my life, my oldest brother starting stealing all our games and selling them for drug money, so I occasionally like to make purchases to rebuild my old collection. And they're mostly games like GTA, FFX, Battlefront, etc. where I got CIB copies not too long ago for pretty cheap.
