The amount of people on one side willing to do violence on the other side is an incredibly low percentage. And disregarding that - when people realize they would have to give up their relatively cushy lifestyle they'll quickly realize they ain't into it.

Pretty easy to call for rebellion when you have a big mac in one hand and an iphone in the other.

Well, the bigger issue is that a lot of Americans imagine it being like the first Civil War. With one side declaring itself to be separate from the union and battlelines being drawn as militaries clash and everything. That's NOT going to happen. Nor is it the only sort of Civil War. More likely we'll see either a coup that spills out into the civilian populace or both Biden and Trump claiming to be the valid president with a claim on it. I.E. Trump winning the electoral but Biden winning the popular. That will likely result in a conflict in the House/Senate with the dems insisting on popular vote and installing Biden and the Republicans defending the Electoral with Trump. Whichever one wins will get their candidate installed regardless of actual vote/electoral and pockets of civilian unrest will form championing the loser. It's too hard to tell where they'll form but it will be less 'battle lines' and more 'federal government withholding funding from non-compliant states'.
