Topic | What should the punishment for drunk driving be? |
Crescent-Moon 10/30/20 7:43:34 PM #8: | 1st offense: 30 days in jail, license suspension up to one year (Recoverable after 6 months if steps have been taken by the driver to address their problem) 2nd offense: Year in jail, license suspension at minimum 3 years, requiring tests and things like AA meetings in order to get it back after. Right to drive is forfeit is this is not completed within 5 years. 3rd offense: Multiple years in jail, permanent loss of license. Minimum 1 year of jail if caught driving again in a non-emergency.
