Yeah unless Biden wins in a big landslide (like winning Montana or South Carolina big) there is a good chance we are going to have no winner by Wednesday morning. Sure us stat people may have a good idea who will win by that point, but there will be no official winner. Trump also has the benefit that the later votes will skew Democratic thus making it harder for Biden to have much of lead to call the mid-west states.

In fact, if the split is huge in Michigan we could have a situation where Trump leads the electoral college on election day (even if Biden wins in Florida and leads in Wisconsin and Minnesota), but ultimately loses it as votes for Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania (and others) flip Biden's way.
