Cutting off friendship for politics is terrible. You don't want every friend of yours to share the exact same views. An absolute statement like, you should never end a friendship over politics, is just as bad as dogmatic partisanship. Simply put, there are limits to how extreme your politics can be without being actually immoral/harmful. That space is very broad, but it is not boundless. Politics is NOT, like, just your opinion, man. That is a childish simplification.
