The Addams Family was just as silly as The Munsters but it was also more tongue in cheek. It wasn't just a basic sitcom with dressing. It actually embraced the theme of the show, fleshed it out, and felt different from other sitcoms of the era. I prefer the Addams Family and it isn't close.
