Is it fair to say game companies may not have regular flow of income outside of release periods and maybe instead a roller coaster ride? Yeah, it's a massive boom and bust cycle, a new game comes out and they get millions in a few weeks, and then it slowly dies out over time as the popularity dies out. With GoG, CDPR has a more stable income than most game companies though, because although it's not massively popular, and they take less of a cut than Steam, it's still something. Compare that to (as a random example because I've been playing their new game a lot) Super Giant Games, they have no source of income between games. --- ImmortalityV, "I would like to kiss Icoyar to be honest in a non gay way though" ...
