Please note I have little to no business aptitude, so what do I know? When it comes to certain products or services, if you cannot meet your client's needs, another product/service may eventually replace you. With video games, unless someone actually introduces something to compete with you, fans are essentially at your mercy. At some point you will lose fans even if there is no competition but besides a game getting cancelled or delayed indefinitely (i.e. Star Citizen), some fans will just continue to wait if there is nothing to feel that void. I look forward to playing Bravely Default II. It being delayed to 2021 or even later, is not going to affect the gameplay when it actually does come out. What do I not understand regarding delays and how some fans are actually upset by it? --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo! Go for the eyes!" ...
