Not really. It says that being strong-willed means you can hold out longer (if you're so inclined). Anyone can be strong-willed. Also it's been consistent that negotiations and forfeits are allowed, as well as incapacitating opponents without killing them (for characters that don't like killing).

Being a cosmic being matters for timescale - e.g., for Maxwell, waiting 30 minutes is probably like FOREVER; for Death, waiting 30 years is nbd - but it still comes down to personality and willpower.

In any case, Star's transmutation spells take the form of a ranged beam which seems fairly dodgeable. Or at least the marshmallow spell does. I don't see it being a gamechanger here.

As I recall, Luminite shots pierce shields, too, so y'know, she better have good personal durability against getting minigunned cause I don't think that's gonna help.
