This shit is a homophobic shirt that could and would offend folk who attend her school, teachers, parents and so on. Free speech is all well and good but not when it's promoting a hate crime. Not only that but she broke the schools dress code regardless. Seems to me the parents are forcing this idea onto her too. Suspend her.

She's identified as B.A.P in the lawsuit and says his daughter was forced to choose between abandoning her religious beliefs

You can have any beliefs you want but what exactly does it achieve to plaster them on a shirt? Even more so a 15 year old who should be concentrating more on her education.

Uniforms are much harder on the poor, considering the expense. Ironically enough, things like uniforms are kind of the norm at religious private schools.

Not really. Hell my school back in my teens offered a sow on school logo for those who went and bought from stores rather than directly from the school due to costs. It certainly cuts down bullying too.
