DAY 23.2: Terrified
On Shudder

I have found a Spanish horror movie to add another culture's horror to my list! And this movie is awesome and yet another Shudder Original.

Terrified is about a small neighborhood undergoing supernatural activity turning violent. A group of supernatural researchers then see if they can find the source of the activity.

Like I said, this movie is awesome. Shudder hits again with their exclusives! This movie has so many creative and terrifying scares in it. It's legitimately really, really good.

I was surprised at how good it was, honestly. Nothing felt predictable. There is genuine creepiness all around, and it's literally just a movie with activity in three different homes with paranormal spookies. But damn, these spookies have a lot put into them. They're distinctly scary in their own ways, and they kind of merge.

When things begin to devolve, they become more and more twisted. You end up just like wtf get me out. And it leads to a satisfying end, along with a solid ending scene.

I highly recommend this movie. I loved how everything played together and it had a very different feel by just being a different culture's horror film. It's not quite a must watch, but I recommend it very highly!

Rating: 8/10

I'll post a review for Evil Eye tomorrow.
