Terrarian isn't going to stand there and let all of his redirected attacks hit him, most of Terraria's big fights are centered around dodging so he's pretty good at it. This fight probably isn't going to be at short range very often, so even if he didn't have the reflexes to dodge lightning I couldn't see him taking much damage from his own attacks. Not enough to kill him, certainly.
eh, part of the reason he's good at dodging is that the enemy can be predicted. i'll even grant that he could probably get a read on Aang. but late-game terraria weapons are very spammy. his machine gun will shoot at at least 12 rounds/second, for example. if his attacks are getting reflected at all, that makes the battlefield much more chaotic and dangerous in the area around the Terrarian. he won't be melted by his own attacks quickly, but it's a hazard that he's gonna get burned by at least a couple times

honestly, I think the fight just comes down to the Last Prism (shoots out a bunch of lasers in a cone that converge to a point, doing a ton of damage). It's every terraria player's favorite weapon to use, and i'd imagine it'd be an opening by the player. if aang gets booped by it, he loses. if he dodges it, it comes to the war of attrition that i think he has the advantage in. if he redirects it, the terrarian won't have time to dodge and will get wrecked.
